RAIN: Renovate, Automate, Innovate, Negotiate

RAIN is my ‘08 buzz word. There’s nothing better than a long walk in a light rain; it’s soothing to feel a light mist on my face. For me, that’s a slice of heaven. Here’s a sprinkling of what’s on the horizon:

RENOVATE

> lay new foundation
> employ feng shui approach to surroundings (ordered harmony)
> repair, replace, update, eliminate
> build “new wings” on existing structures

AUTOMATE

> upgrade tech
> work smarter & faster, not harder

INNOVATE

> expand thinking
> unleash creativity
> add new contacts & connections

NEGOTIATE

> new avenues for success
> uncharted terrain
> higher summits
> win-win contracts

“When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade”

My colleague recently dubbed me “lemonade lady” after I put a positive spin on structural damage to ceilings caused by contractors upgrading another apartment in our building. We’re dealing with a little dust and rubble; many are homeless. Never forget how fortunate you are.

Always remember to thank the people who contributed to your success and consider who you’re taking along for the ride. You can always aspire, but it’s more important to inspire others each step along life’s journey.
